Case files are handled the way your firm expects of a vendor: binding confidentiality from intake, encrypted transfer, one reviewer, deletion on your schedule.
The intake flow

Intake form. Matter type, format preference, and contact details — no documents yet.
2.
Confidentiality binds at submission. Our terms take effect the moment the form is sent. A signed mutual NDA — or your firm's own vendor NDA, countersigned — is available on request before upload.
3.
Secure upload — immediately. The upload page opens as soon as the form is submitted. Files transfer directly into encrypted storage — they never touch our web server.
4.
Encrypted delivery back. The summary is returned through your secure client portal login, not email attachments.
What is in place
Confidentiality from intake
Our confidentiality terms bind from the moment you submit the intake form. Firms that want a signed document before uploading can request our mutual NDA for e-signature, or send their own vendor NDA — returned countersigned the same business day.
Encrypted transfer and storage
All transfer runs through our secure client portal (Encyro) — encrypted in transit and at rest, with a signed Business Associate Agreement available where records include protected health information. Transcripts are never sent or accepted as plain email attachments.
Access limited to your reviewer
Access to a matter's files is limited to the reviewer assigned to it. The same reviewer handles your matters every time; nobody browses files they are not working on.
Deletion on your schedule
Tell us when files should go — on delivery, at matter close, or on a set retention date — and they are deleted from the portal on that schedule. Confirmation in writing on request.
BAA where records include PHI
Where deposition records include protected health information — medical malpractice, personal injury with treatment records — a Business Associate Agreement is available before intake.
AI and your data
Drafting runs on commercial AI infrastructure whose terms prohibit training on client content. Transcripts never enter consumer AI tools. Every draft is reviewed by a person against the transcript before delivery.
